2010 celeb style retrospective
I think everyone is looking forward to starting afresh in 2011. But it's that time of the year again to look back at some style favorites. Here were my favorites from 2009.
I loved Sandra Bullock in late Alexander McQueen (such a sad loss this year). I appreciate that she took a little bit of a risk, it fits her beautifully and I love the blue detailing on it.

Michelle Williams always gets it right.

Thandie Newton. So pretty.

C.S.!

Alexa Alexa.

Keira Knightley.

Gaga: VMA Red Carpet. The meat dress was most memorable but it grossed me out a bit. i loved this McQueen gown.

Anything Carey Mulligan wore, I adored.

grammy glam
I think many agree that this year's Grammy Awards were a misfire. Instead of highlighting the achievements of actual musicians, they went for a noisy, hip, VMA-approach.
Here were my favorite looks. Who were your favorites?

Miley Cyrus, in Herve Leger. OK, I struggled putting her on my faves list. I find her annoying but I have to admit, I love this dress and for once I think she dressed her age and perfectly for the event at hand.

Mary J. Blige, in Gucci. Love this color on her!

Lady Gaga needs her own section. Unfortunately, the producers chose not to televise her dance recording wins. She was shafted.

Carrie Underwood, in Edition by Georges Chakra

Sheryl Crow, in Bottega Veneta. Kind of plain, but I thought it was pretty. Not sure if she can pull of those earrings.
