Golden Globes fashion was kind of ho-hum this year but here are my favorites. Who were y'all feeling?

I think this is my favorite Angelina Jolie look I can think of. She looks so beautiful in this emerald Versace dress.

My Golden Globes viewing party gasped when Halle Berry was onstage. Here wearing Nina Ricci. She is so stunning!

Emma Stone peachy in Calvin Klein

Claire Danes in similar Calvin Klein. A pretty color on her.

Anne Hathaway was my best dressed, looking beautiful in Giorgio Armani Prive. I like that it's simple and elegant but fashion forward at the same time.

Am I the only one struggling a bit to find favorites at the Emmys? Is this really the year to call Kim Kardashian best dressed?

I loved the embellished neckline on her Marchesa gown and the back as well.

Because the dresses were overall so blandly bad I'm fond of this year's risk-takers.

The usual on-spot January Jones in Atelier Versace is fun but a bit of a miss for me (the color) though I love the Miu Miu shoos:

I also kind of felt Anna Paquin's Alexander McQueen.

Padma Lakshmi in Carolina Herrera. I love the color and the top half. Not sure about the slit.

Julia Louis-Dreyfus in Narciso Rodriguez. I love her but can she pull this off? I appreciate the earrings.

OK peeps. Oscar red carpet judging time. Who did y'all feel? I was underwhelmed by many. Not many risk takers this year. Here are my favorites:

Demi Moore in Versace. She really stepped up her game! I think she looks great.

Carey Mulligan in Prada, with Fred Leighton jewels. Loved this!

This was a really great color & fit for Queen Latifah.

Zoe Saldana in Givenchy Haute Couture.

I think many agree that this year's Grammy Awards were a misfire. Instead of highlighting the achievements of actual musicians, they went for a noisy, hip, VMA-approach.

Lady Gaga needs her own section. Unfortunately, the producers chose not to televise her dance recording wins. She was shafted.

Miley Cyrus, in Herve Leger. OK, I struggled putting her on my faves list. I find her annoying but I have to admit, I love this dress and for once I think she dressed her age and perfectly for the event at hand.

Mary J. Blige, in Gucci. Love this color on her!

Carrie Underwood, in Edition by Georges Chakra

Beyonce, in Stephane Rolland. I love the Aztec shapes on it.

Sheryl Crow, in Bottega Veneta. Kind of plain, but I thought it was pretty. Not sure if she can pull of those earrings.
